Organizer terms
What organizers agree to when they sell on AcePass.
Last updated 29 September 2026
1. Who can sell
Organizers must be real people or businesses we can verify. We check identity and the bank account payouts go to before you can publish paid events.
2. Your events
You are responsible for your event: that it happens as described, that you have the rights to host it and use any names or images, and that it is safe and lawful.
Event pages must be accurate. Do not list events that are illegal, hateful, or that you do not control.
3. Money
Buyers pay through Paystack. Your share of each sale is settled by Paystack to your own bank account through your subaccount, usually the next working day.
Our fee is 5% plus ₦100 per paid ticket, plus VAT on that fee, unless we agree another rate in writing. Free tickets are free.
If buyers dispute payments (chargebacks) or you owe refunds for a cancelled event, you agree to cover them. We may hold back part of future settlements to do so.
4. Refunds
You set a refund rule for each event and must honour it. If you cancel an event, buyers get a full refund. You may not keep ticket money for an event that did not happen.
5. Buyer data
You receive buyers’ names and contact details to run your event. Use them only for that event, keep them secure, and do not sell or share them.
You must follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Marketing to buyers needs their consent.
6. Ending
We may pause or remove events or accounts that break these terms, after telling you why. You can stop selling at any time; obligations for events already sold continue.
